Rename lots of files at the same time.

Have you ever wanted to rename many files at the same time, without writing script or running to DOS to remember the old commands?
Problem: I had 81 files with a similar name such as this example 10_09%06.gif, the Percent sign is a reserved character. Ever wonder how that happened in the first place….another story.
  1. Open Windows Explorer. Select all the files you want to rename.
  2. Once selected, press the function key "F2".
  3. Type your new name. If you have file extensions shown, make sure you also type the name of the file extension you're renaming.
  4. To Easy!
